Our Team

Jeff Uskoski

Bi-vocational Pastor

Jeff has served as our church’s bi-vocational pastor since 2021 and has served on the church’s leadership team as an elder since 2012. He has a heart for sharing the true story of the Bible with everyone. During the week, he is a math teacher at Soda Springs High School. Jeff and his wife Hallie were missionaries in Mexico from 2009 to 2011 where they helped to support tribal works in the city of Chihuahua. Jeff, Hallie, and their four children have lived in Soda Springs since 2011.

 

Gene Nelson

Financial Oversight

Gene has served as our church’s leadership team as an elder since 2021. He oversees the financial and operational aspects of the church. During the week, you can find him working at one of our local mines as a business manager. Gene, his wife April, and their three kids moved to Soda Spring in 2016.

Dustin Hagen

Worship Leader

Dustin has served as our church’s worship leader since 2020. Previously, Dustin served on the worship team at New Life Church in Gillette, WY. During the week, you can find him working at one of our local mines as an engineer. Dustin, his wife Jasey, and their two kids moved to Grace in 2018.

 

April Nelson

Children’s Ministry Leader

April has led our church’s children’s ministry and Vacation Bible School since 2020. April has been both a homeschool-mom and a public school-mom in the area, with a professional background in geotechnical engineering. April, her husband Gene, and their three kids moved to Soda Springs in 2016.

Stephen Simmons

Middle School Ministry Leader

Stephen leads Middle School ministry at our church, as well as serves on our worship band. During the week, you can find him working at one of our local mines as an engineer. Stephen moved to Soda Springs in 2020.

 

Alisa Miller

Fellowship & Hospitality Leader

Alisa leads our church through fellowship and community building. She is the master organizer and coordinator behind our monthly “Second Sunday Supper” that happens right after our service on the second Sunday of every month. She has a background in teaching. Alisa, her husband Carl, and their five children have lived in Soda Springs since 2012.
