Who We Are

We are a Bible-believing Christian church in Soda Springs, Idaho in Caribou County. We are a “come as you are” church and we welcome everyone no matter what season you’re in.

What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the only inspired and authoritative Word of God and is composed of 66 books of the Old and New Testaments.

One God / The Trinity

We believe there is one holy, loving God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God wants to be known and in relationship with every person.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ - the awaited Messiah written of in the Old Testament. We believe he was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.

The Church

We believe church is not a building, but a community of fellow Christians who all hold the same values in following Jesus. The Church extends far beyond our community and includes Christians across the world.

Baptism

We believe baptism is a public symbol of an internal decision to lead a life following Christ. We don’t believe there is a “right” age for baptism, but rather it is a personal decision that can only be made by the person being baptized.

Faith vs Works

We believe grace and salvation from God is based on faith and faith alone. Good works are a result of our faith and a form of worshipping God, but is not a condition of salvation or forgiveness, as those are found in the completed work of Jesus Christ.

Sin & Perfection

We believe in the sin-nature of humanity and, when we accept Jesus into our lives, Jesus’ death covers and reconciles all of our past and future sin. Perfection is found in Christ alone.

Giving & Tithing

We believe giving is an act of worship, and the amount is a private agreement between you and God. There is no requirement to give any amount while attending our church.
