Frequently Asked Questions

We know visiting a new church can be overwhelming and intimidating. Here are some answers that we hope will help answer some questions you have before you check us out in person.

FAQs

  • Church starts at 10am (or a few minutes after). We kick off the service with any church announcements, then our worship team/band leads us in an opening prayer.

The worship team leads the church in 3-4 songs. After the worship music, children and students 1 year-old through middle school are invited to attend nursery, children’s church, or middle school church during the sermon / message. Children and students are also welcome to stay with their families.

Our Pastor then reads from the Bible and preaches a sermon on the passage.

Our worship team usually closes the service with another song, then people usually head home or hang around to catch up with friends.

  • We don’t have a dress code. We believe that God cares more about your heart than your clothes. At our church, you’ll see everything from jeans and shorts with tattoos showing to slacks and dresses. Please come as you’re comfortable.

  • Yes! After our beginning worship music, we have a nursery for infants and toddlers, “children’s church” for grades K-4, and “middle school church” for grades 5-8.

  • Absolutely. No one in our church (or on Earth!) is perfect and we would be shocked if you were. Whether you’ve struggled with addiction, criminal offenses, lack of faith, divorce, or something else, you will likely find someone here who’s walked a similar path. You are welcome here.

  • Our church believes in “believers baptism” when a person, of any age, personally welcomes Jesus into their heart and life. We would love to support you in a “baby dedication” in which our church welcomes and prays over your child, promising to guide them towards a God-centered life.

  • We understand and you’re not alone. Our church would love to walk with you through this season in your life and answer the questions you have through a Biblical lens.
